A pop-up will appear with various fields.

Locate the "Addon Groups" field and click "Add New."

In the new popup, insert your chosen Addon Group (Customization Group) name (e.g., Addons, Portion Size, Best Served With, etc.) and click "Create Addon Group."

Creating a Customization Item:

Under Product Customization, you will find several fields:

Customization Name (Internal Reference, Mandatory):

This is the internal name for the customization item, which can be a combination of your customization item name and the menu item name where it will be applied. This helps in easier identification.

Customization Display Name (Display Name, Mandatory):

This is the name that will be displayed on customer ordering and aggregator platforms.

Product Name (Mandatory):

Select the product under which you wish this customization group and customization item to be mapped.

Addon Group (Mandatory):

Select either an existing Customization Group name or the one you created earlier. This is the header (customisation group) under which this customization item will be listed.

Customization Type (Mandatory):

There are three customization types configurable on QRkey Systems:

Size: For setting up portion sizes (e.g., Half and Full Portion).

Product: When a core menu item is also used as an addon product (e.g., Coke 600 ml).

Custom: To create custom addons (e.g., a specific side dish served with a main menu item).

Customization Product Name (Required for "Product" Type Only):

This field is required only when the customization type is "Product"; otherwise, it can be left blank.

Customization Price (Mandatory):

Define the price to be added to the bill when a customer selects this addon item along with the base product. This is the price of the addon, and it can be "0" for products served as free accompaniments. Ensure that the custom price aligns with your pricing strategy.
